Temporal lift

The temporal face-lift refers to the area along the sides and top of the forehead. This technique is also referred to as a brow-lift. It is meant to smooth out the lines of the fore­head and some of the eye area by repositioning the forehead skin along the hairline. At the time of the cutting and pasting for this area, the muscles of the forehead would also be repositioned (Source: Facial Plastic Surgery, February 2001, pages 57-66).
