SUPPLEMENTS

These two supplements are at the top of researchers’ lists for help with fighting wrinkles and other age-related symptoms. Check with your physician before using any supplement.

VITAMIN C ESTER

By bonding vitamin C with palm oil, this supplement is believed to help the vitamin go through cell membranes to target free radicals and stimulate new collagen.

DHEA

This supplement is short for dehydroepiandros – terone, a hormone made by the adrenal glands located just above the kidneys. Touted as "the fountain of youth," its benefits include everything from more energy (including sexual energy) to firmer skin and thicker hair. Formerly available only by prescription, DHEA is now sold everywhere. It is recommended that 25 milligrams be taken starting at age thirty-five until the age of fifty. After fifty, the dosage is recommended at 50 milligrams.
