WHITE BUMPS

Usually they’re located on your arms. They look like little zits, but they don’t pop. They are an allergic reaction called keratosis pilaris. It usually clears up in a week, but you can speed things along.

Wash with baking soda and water. Mix two tablespoons of sugar with one teaspoon of fresh lemon juice and two to three drops of vegetable oil. Rub it over dry skin. Wipe away with a damp washcloth. The citric acid unclogs pores while the sugar whisks away debris. The oil adds mois­ture. Finish by dabbing the area with a warm, wet towel.
