Incidentally, fluoride in toothpaste may be the source of breakouts around the mouth. The research for this is very old, with a couple of studies published in the 1970s and even the 1950s. That is not exactly current information, but if you tend to have acne just around your mouth, it is simple enough to try nonfluoride toothpaste for awhile and see if things improve.
