The Dutch designer of Iris van Herpen, a fantazyorka, the mathematician and the experimenter, continues to involve for creation of own futuristic collections of the serious experts creating at the peak of global innovations. For January kutyurny week Irin prepared the next technogenic show from which 150-year empire Salon Opera of the Inter Continental Le Grand hotel shuddered, which else remembers Napoleon the Third crowning. Prior to the beginning of the fashion show of all gathered in a round hall the revived sculpture standing on a high pedestal which special equipment was capable to pass through itself the electric current escaping by outside sparkling branches of the most real lightnings welcomed. In the dark smooth movements of the volunteer who was energized caused serious fears at present for his sculptural life, well and for the and adjusted on a serious harmony before future viewing.

When developing 11 Voltage models of Irin cooperated with inexpressibly interesting people. Among her coauthors – the real revolutionary in modern design, the painter, the designer, the doctor of MIT’s* Media Lab beauty Neri Oksman (Neri Oxman) who is engaged in development of processes, capable to reconstruct an essence of the nature. Irin continues to work fruitfully and with Julia Kerner (Julia Koerner), the Australian designer and the teacher of UCLA in Los-Adzheles which creates surprising decorative objects from polymeric structural models of volume invoices of various natural surfaces.
In design of clothes of Irin uses the innovative Mammooth Stero litography method, and help it with it the Stratasys company, the leading producer 3D printers and Materialise – the pioneer in development of the additive software. Application of unique technology multicomponent 3-D allowed to enter the press into design and rigid, and soft materials to make very difficult, parametrically the generated geometrical structures. And these structures imposed at each other in some thin weaved слоёв, are capable to animate clothes, to model movements, organic for a human body. Application of technology of selective laser agglomeration allows to make plastic, flexible materials and to present surprising effects in clothes design. New structures for a long time leave to the past such antiquated concepts of sewing business, as "seam" and "cut".
According to members of the serious research team which has prepared clothes the Iris for display, inexpressible possibilities of new technologies allow to rethink traditions of couture in tech-couture where the special manual embroidery is replaced with a code.
