Highlighter draws attention to the tops of your cheekbones, enhancing their form while creating a shimmering luminosity. Highlighters come in powders and creams and are best used sparingly. A highlighting eye shadow can just as easily be used for the tops of the cheekbones. My favorite way to apply highlighter is to lightly dot on cream formulas with the fingers or swirl on powdered highlighters with a fan brush. If you have mature skin or an uneven complexion, use a bit of cream all-over brightener without shimmer to achieve a brilliant result.
