APPLYING THE BODY MAKEUP

1. To begin the process, everyone placed filter masks on.

2. Our first performer sat in a swivel chair as we lightly hazed the white underbase on. Note: It was extremely important that this first layer not be sprayed on too heavily—running would be visible under the yellow and ruin the effect.

It was a slow process to build up this primer coat.

3. We covered the entire actor except for his hands, feet, and upper eyelids.

This took about an hour and a

half with two people applying the white.

4. We then lightly dusted the white tattoo product with colorless powder to remove any stickiness on the skin.

5. APPLYING THE BODY MAKEUPПодпись: PRO TIP Before applying the yellow, it was strained first using a fine-mesh strainer like those found in the baking aisle at a grocery store. This helped remove any large particles that could potentially clog the spray gun. APPLYING THE BODY MAKEUPAPPLYING THE BODY MAKEUPПодпись: 6. The yellow was applied carefully over :75 the white. Note: Two people worked different sections of the body to save time. 7. Next, we applied a matching yellow in cream form around the eyes. 8. The edges were blended off, then set with powder. 9. We applied a base to the entire face in yellow with a Hi-Line airbrush. 10. The makeup was finished with our hands: airbrushed white primer color, yellow makeup, and colorless powder to set. 11. To seal the makeup, Reel Creations Blue Aqua Sealer was airbrushed over the entire body. A light coating of Derma Shield (a skin protector) was covered over the entire body to add a more lifelike sheen. 12. After the hair was styled, the airbrush was used to enhance the hair. This technique gave the hair a more structured look. Then we dusted off the excess.
