YOURSELF

Don’t put anything in or on your body that will not benefit it in some way.

Don’t deprive your body of nourishment. Don’t waste your time gossiping when you could be helping.

Be safe in who you let in your door and your life.

WHAT IF YOU WEREN’T SHY? Act for

a moment like that. Take a deep breath and talk to yourself. PICTURE yourself speaking with CONFIDENCE and GO FOR IT

SENSE THE VIBES

You know if someone is really paying you a compliment. These feelings will also serve you well in picking out an outfit or choosing your friends. Trust it.

YOU CAN’T FOOL YOURSELF

Trying to reason with yourself is just too easy. You’ve got to train your rational inner voice to win over your less rational side.

When you hear yourself saying, "I’m too busy to eat, I’ll just grab a candy bar," tell yourself that the world won’t stop if you pause for fifteen minutes to eat a nutritious meal.

TAKE BABY STEPS

When it all seems just too overwhelming, take one step at a time. When I do a makeover, I ease the client into it. As much fun as those makeovers are to watch, most of them take days but appear to take place in minutes. You need to make adjustments and tweaks as you go along. You are always a work in progress. Keep changing and you’ll never be bored with your life or with yourself. Don’t take on more than you can handle!
