TOOLS

FINGERS

The best makeup tool is located right at the end of your hand. Forego those fancy applicators and start finger-painting. That’s what the top makeup artists do.

For a sexy smudge on your eyes, use your pinky and soften the line.

For a brightening effect on the eye, pat on color on the inner corner of the eyes to the upper, outer quadrant. Always pat, never rub or pull at the eye area.

SPOONS

Carefully hold a clean spoon against the upper eyelid with the hollow side turned in and the bottom edge lined up with the base of your lashes. Apply mascara using short, quick strokes. Extra product will end up on the spoon, not clumped on your lashes.

Are you a klutz when it comes to using a lash curler? No problem. You can get a great curl by heating a metal spoon briefly with the hairdryer and then applying the outside of the spoon to your upper lashes. Hold for about ten seconds, and your lashes are instantly and perfectly curled!

DISGUISE

IMPERFECTIONS

Prepare the area with a drop of moisturizer mixed with a drop or two of eye-redness reliever. This will allow the concealer to properly stick to the skin. Next, take a very small brush and dip into concealer. Gently brush over the blemish. Apply foundation. Then reapply concealer. Gently pat over with loose powder to keep the blemish covered.
