SKIN SAVER

If you have just a few seconds and need to look presentable, a little witch hazel followed by a tinted moisturizer will save the day.

FLAKY SKIN

Wrap some scotch tape around your finger and dab it over flakes and dry patches.

NO MAKEUP REMOVER

Use baby wipes to quickly get makeup off and refresh your face.

DROOPY SKIN

Take the white of an egg and gently pat it on clean skin. Allow to dry without moving a muscle. Blot off any excess. Apply makeup.

DEEP LINES

Mash one-half-cup papaya with one tablespoon of honey. Smooth over face, concentrating on lines. Leave on for fifteen minutes. The acids in the papaya will naturally exfoliate away the lines while the honey seals in the moisture.

ECZEMA

If you suffer from eczema, evening primrose oil may help. It contains gamma-linolenic acid

(GLA). There are skin-care products made with primrose oil, but more effective and less expensive is to purchase evening primrose oil capsules.

Break them open with a safety pin and empty the contents into the palm of your hand. Apply to eczema patches. If treating a large area, mix with an equal amount of solid vegetable shortening (like Crisco).

STRESSED-OUT SKIN

Take any mild salsa, puree in a blender, and apply to face, leaving on for about ten minutes. Do not use any salsa that contains peppers or spices. These ingredients can cause irritation or breakouts on the skin.
