Get samples if you can, or use the in-store testers and wear the product home to see how it looks in your own bathroom mirror or outside.
Pick two or three shades that match your skin. Draw a streak on your jawline, and see which matches best. If there’s no tester, hold the bottles up to your jaw. When you can’t decide between two shades, choose the slightly darker one.
