PACKING

Packing requires discipline and restraint. Always pack the least amount of clothing, shoes, and cosmetics that you think you need to survive.

LEARN TO DO MORE WITH LESS

You really only need a few well-planned pieces.

IN THE CARRY-ON

If you do have to check your luggage, assume it may not make the destination with you, and carry your absolute essentials with you at all times.

If you wear contact lenses, keep the necessary solutions and containers with you.

Always keep some extra underwear and hose in a plastic bag in your purse.

If you do check your luggage, consider having it shrink-wrapped. It keeps luggage from popping open and it deters thieves. You can

easily do it yourself to save money. Just use wide plastic wrap and two-inch cellophane tape.
