OLIVE OIL

Warm one-half cup of olive oil in the microwave for just a few seconds. Make sure it’s warm, but comfortable to the touch. Massage into dry skin.

Warm two tablespoons of olive oil in the microwave until slightly warm to the touch. Apply to dry, unwashed hair. Leave on until cool. Shampoo thoroughly, and then condition as usual.

PEANUT BUTTER

Here’s a food that’s rich in essential fatty acids so that when applied topically can soften dry, scaly skin. Simply massage a tablespoon or two into rough patches of skin. Leave on about fifteen

minutes, and then wipe off with a paper towel. Finish by rinsing in warm water.
