MORE LIP TRICKS

• Always wipe off lip balm before applying lipstick. Lips must be clean, or the lipstick will go on unevenly.

• Never apply a hard lip pencil to lips. Soften the tip by warming it up for a few seconds between your fingers.

• Make lips look smaller by applying concealer on lip rim. Draw an outline that’s just inside the

natural lip line.

• Keep lipstick off teeth by inserting a tissue into your mouth with your finger and then drawing out excess lipstick.

• Darken your lip gloss by putting a little bit of dark brown shadow before application.

• Conceal a lipstick’s lightness by applying a neutral lipliner all over the lip.

•Update lipstick with a cool blue base. Create it with a little bit of blue eye shadow. Mix a little

into your lipstick until you’ve created the right shade.

• Models are told to sip through a straw to protect their teeth from stain-makers like coffee, cola, tea, and red wine.

• At photo shoots, lipsticks are often kept on top of a cool soda bottle. It keeps them from turning to mush. Makeup artists are known to pack their makeup in small zippered plastic bags kept in chilled gel packs.
