HEROES

Baking Soda

Use it to protect clothing from deodorant stains. Apply it after deodorant.

It’s a great toothpaste. Mix it with your regular toothpaste or add it to hydrogen peroxide.

Add it to your bath to soothe irritated skin.

Vitamin E Capsules

Use them to add important moisturizing value to any inexpensive cream.

Break open a capsule and rub the oil between your hands, then pat over your hair to defrizz. Talcum Powder

Dry shampoo your hair by dusting a small amount on your scalp and brushing through hair. It absorbs oils and adds body, too.

Eye Redness Reliever

Use it to brighten tired eyes, of course, but also rely on it to conceal pimples. Just squirt some on a cotton swab and hold the swab on the pimple for about fifteen seconds.

Hydrogen Peroxide

This is an excellent toner for acne-prone or oily skin. Pour some on a cotton ball and wipe over your face after cleansing.

Vitamin K

Break it open and use it to lighten undereye circles.

Pat it on spider veins.

Its properties boost circulation and get blood flowing.

Petroleum Jelly

Use it on eyelids to add a natural sheen.

It creates gloss from regular lipstick. Just add it on top of lipstick or liner.

Toothbrush

Use it to exfoliate your lips

Spray it with a bit of hairspray and keep your brows in place.

Brush your tongue when you brush your teeth for fresh breath.

Use it to tease small pieces of hair.

BUY IN BULK those products you know you won’t stop needing. Shop on sale or at wholesale clubs for such things as deodorant, shampoo, underwear, body lotion, etc.

The NUMBER ONE LIPSTICK

bargain is a brownish-pink color. It is the one must-have for your handbag. It works for most skin tones, and it can be used on lips, cheeks, and even eyes as a creamy shadow. Don’t pick anything too dark, or it won’t be as flattering.

For SOFT HAIR, rub in unscented body lotion. (Using anything with fragrance won’t work because those products contain alcohol.)
