• Powdered milk with water is a clean and natu­ral milk cleanser. Plus it’s convenient since you don’t have to refrigerate it.

• Salt is good for chafed skin or for removing a peeling sunburn. Mix a one-half teaspoon salt with a teaspoon of water.

• Baking soda with water is a good wash for very sensitive skin. Put a little baking soda in the palm of your hand, and then add just enough water to make a paste.

PAPAYA ENZYME TREATMENT

This treatment may take more time than most but is highly effective in clearing up blemishes.

MASH a very ripe papaya into a pulp.

BOIL two quarts of water with a packet of an herbal laxative.

APPLY mashed papaya to your face (avoiding eye area).

KEEP your face over the steaming water (keeping a comfortable distance). PUT a towel over your head to direct the steam to your face.

DO this for about ten minutes.

RINSE with warm water and gently pat dry.
