ENDS ARE UNEVEN

Blow dry while using a round brush to flip ends up. For extra hold, blow dry with cool air and spritz with hair spray.

Rub hair wax on ends and heat with a blow dryer. The ends will fuse together temporarily.

TOO MUCH OIL

The pectin in apple juice absorbs excess oil, leaving hair squeaky clean. In a pitcher, combine one-third cup apple juice with one-half teaspoon white vinegar, which intensifies the juices and has oil-absorbing power. Pour over freshly washed hair. Comb through; and leave

on for fifteen minutes. Rinse and follow with a light shampoo.

IN NEED OF GREASE RELIEF

Make several parts in your hair around the crown. Apply witch hazel with a cotton ball. Stroke over your scalp. This treatment also helps to control dandruff.

DANDRUFF DUTY

Lemon is a natural exfoliant that fights dandruff. Spritz hair with the juice of one lemon mixed with two cups water. Then shampoo. Rinse with two teaspoons lemon and one cup cool water.

STOP BREAKAGE

Stop hair brittleness and breakage with soy milk. It nourishes the cuticle to restore strength and flexibility. Combine one-half cup soy milk and three tablespoons of cornstarch. Comb through wet hair and let stand ten minutes. Rinse well.
