. DO IT YOURSELF

You can treat yourself at home with things you have around the house or can easily afford. It’s easy to do and will empower you to take control of your looks and your life.

STEAM TREATMENTS

These benefit your skin by bringing impurities to the surface.

Fill a bowl with boiling water and lean your head over the steam. Place a towel over your head so that the steam stays trapped to go into your face, not the air.

Use a mint laxative to help clean and condition skin. Add a couple of tea bags for a toning effect. Cut up some oranges and add them to the boiling water for replenishing skin. To treat dry skin add jojoba oil (about a teaspoon).

Freshen your complexion with grape juice or red wine. Just dot it on with a cotton ball. Let it sit a minute, then rinse.
