They are an important part of the total face. As a rule, they should be one or two shades darker than your hair color.
Don’t go crazy with the tweezers, but you don’t want to ever leave them unruly. If you’re unsure about what to do, get a stencil kit, or let a professional do it for you.
If you’re too nervous to tweeze, brush your brows up and snip any hairs that go above the brow with a small pair of scissors.
Always place a little gel on your brows.

Choose Thick Brows
• If your face is round or heart shaped
• Your nose is thick or wide
• You have large or wide-set eyes.

Choose Thin Brows
• If your face is long and thin
• Your eyes are close or deep-set
• Your forehead is small
• You have small features
Make your brows look even more DRAMATIC by running a pink or white pencil under the arch.
Keep your eye shadow from creasing by powdering the eyelid first. Creasing happens when the natural oils in your skin mix with the eye shadow, causing the shadow to collect in the folds of your upper lids.
It’s easy to make any lash look fuller.
With the pad of your pointer finger, gently pull on the corner of the eye just enough so that skin is smooth and taut. Add a thin line of dark powder shadow directly on top of your actual lash line. Concentrate your mascara at the base of your lashes with a back and forth motion. Then sweep the entire length of the lash once.
Black mascara gives the most drama to your eyes. For parties, you can use the same black mascara dipped into a colored shadow. For the office or weekends, you might prefer brown mascara or even clear mascara (it doubles as a brow fix). It also may be a better look for you if you’re a natural blonde or light redhead.

Dust powder over lids if you don’t already have eye shadow on. If you plan to curl your lashes, do it before lining eyes. Otherwise, you’ll
smudge the line. Choose the right formula. For a clean, straight line use a cake or liquid liner. To create a soft line, use eyeliner pencil. Rest your elbow on a hard surface to steady your hand. Start in the middle of the eyelid and draw as close to the lashes as possible. First apply the liner toward the inner corner of your eye. Then draw to the outer end of the eye with a slightly upward turn at the end.
To "smoke" your eyes, just apply eye shadow in a similar shade over the liner. If the liner smudges, clean up with a slightly dampened cotton swab.
Wide Eyes
Apply a shimmery beige shadow from lash line to brow bone. Finish with a slightly darker shadow on the lids for definition.

Small Eyes
Use pale and medium shadows, and stay away from dark colors or dark eyeliner. Apply light shadow over the lids, and a line of medium shadow in the crease.
Close-Set Eyes
You can visually separate close-set eyes by using light, shimmery shades at the inner corner of each eye. It gives the illusion of more space. Line the outer half of the eye with darker shadow. Deep-Set Eyes
Deep-set eyes need to come out of hiding. Use a pale shadow all over the lid, and only the lid. Line with a pale liner, and smudge the two together. Wide-Set Eyes
Wide set eyes come together by applying dark color at the inner corner of each eye. Apply a lighter shadow at the outer corners.
