After other eminent designers the latest collection 2013-2014 was presented autumn-winter by Dries Van Noten which at present, most likely, decided to do without superfluous risks and tests, having presented to the admirers all the best and quiveringly favourite in 30 years of the career. It seemed that there was a place to everything about what the fashion only knows: to the magnificent embroideries decorated with pastes, paillettes and the stones which are perfectly familiar to free silhouettes, interesting prints, times of an unusual mnogosloynost – that here only was not. Though in it a certain risk on which the designer went was felt, after all all this absolutely could break up to separate separate components, without having left after itself absolutely any complete memoirs. Vobshchem, it did not leave. Prestigious critics and absolutely christened the latest Dries Van Noten collection «one of stronger and integral for the last years».
In the twilight of the aperture which has been densely veiled by dense curtains, one for another there were the models dressed in the best dresses of the designer. And after the first several exits noted by wide jackets, elegantly intercepted by a very narrow thong, wide direct coats, the trousers which have been wrapped up from above by something, reminding an apron, the stretched sweaters and a fringe, presence of the 20th at the display atmosphere became clear to be felt. But only these 20th Dries Van Noten in performance were absolutely not romantic, and the post-modernist are more quick. So, the dress decorated by several layers of a brilliant fringe, was safely incorporated with a shirt, a striped jacket and malekhanky trousers-skinni. And absolutely ordinary-looking gray sweater – with the same gray skirt of a mussel of the length entirely covered with scraps of a fringe.
At the end of display many of the present met in outlook that Dries Van Noten did not entertain them for a long time such witty, cheerful and excentric collection. Though its main plus was, perhaps, that all this eccentricity was absolutely special type of – in it there was no place to madness or recklessness – opposite, it appeared very rational and times even prudent. But, probably, for this reason seemed to public, finally, such inspiring and magnetic. At all this, so, that on a final exit of models of halls not simply applauded, but shouted and stamped from ecstasy, as if at a rock concert.
