How do you solve that hair problem? You do it quickly and creatively. Here are some of my favorites.
Dampen hair and then straighten out starting from the ends.
FLAT HAIR
Blow hair out straight and then set it for a few minutes on hot rollers to give it more volume.
Revive your hair in the shower. Pull your hair into a ponytail on top of your head, separate into two sections and wrap two them around Velcro rollers. Cover with a shower cap. The steam will help set your hair and give it volume and curves by the time you get out.
When you don’t have time to wash your hair, mist it with an aerosol hair spray. Then run your fingers through. The alcohol will dissolve the oil and revive your style. If there’s no hair spray on hand, use perfume. There’s enough alcohol in the fragrance to give your style new life.
BANGS ARE TOO LONG
Dampen your hair and comb forward the bangs that go from the middle on one eyebrow to the center of the other. Pull tight and cut right at the bridge of your nose. Your bangs will pop back up to your brows in a natural line.
• Make a zig-zag part.
• Cover your roots with chalk. Washable magic marker also works in a pinch.
• Eye shadow can be blended for a perfect match. Apply it with your fingers or a smal sponge-tipped applicator.
• Paint roots away with washable mascara.
LAYERS ARE GROWING OUT
Use the top layers you’re trying to grow out to create extra volume. After drying, spritz roots at the crown with spray gel. Tease a bit to create fullness.
Control layers by applying a super hold ge to damp hair then combing through. Secure layers with a clip and allow hair to air dry.
