To play up your petite, pretty peepers, the secret is to not go overboard with dark eye shadows.
1. Start by highlighting the entire lid with a light, shimmering shadow and blending it in so just a glow shows.
2. Next, sweep a midtone eye shadow into the crease.
3. Apply a small line of dark eyeliner across the outer half of the lid, as close to the roots of the upper lashes as possible (avoid a thick, heavy line on the upper lid).
4. Apply a midtone eye shadow (the same color as in the crease) under the lower lash line using an angle brush, starting in the center of the lower lid and moving outward. Then smudge to soften the effect.
5. Finish with mascara on the top and bottom lashes.
