SKIN SAVVY

EXERCISE

Get a healthy glow by oxygenating the tissues of your skin with regular exercise. Don’t wear a lot of makeup while you’re exercising so that your skin gets a chance to clean out and "breathe."

SLEEP

Your skin rejuvenates itself in the last stages of sleep. If you’re sleeping less than eight hours, you’re not allowing your skin to repair itself.

A LITTLE FAT

You need essential fatty acids in your diet to feed your skin. Some of the models I have worked with are guilty of not having enough fat in their diet because they’re afraid they’ll gain weight, and it really robs their skin of its glow.

READ LABELS

Check expiration dates, ingredients, and follow directions for best results from your skin-care products.

HUMIDIFY

Place a humidifier in your bedroom to keep your skin hydrated while you sleep.

DRINK UP

Follow every cup of coffee and every glass of alcohol with a glass of water. The water will keep the dehydrating effects of both beverages from harming your skin.
